# Allocation and risk

How the manager decides where money goes.

The manager compares markets using prices, liquidity, costs and portfolio limits. It chooses which markets to enter, how much to invest and where to place each price range.

It can keep money in USDG when opportunities fail those checks. A better opportunity elsewhere does not automatically close an existing position.

The portfolio can be concentrated in one market. These checks guide decisions; they cannot guarantee a profit or prevent losses.
